Designer note: why Linear exists
Linear's one design move is a thin vertical rule down the left margin running the full page height. It's the traditional single-column with one structural element added. I send it to candidates targeting government, civil service, and conservative consulting roles where the rule reads as 'organised' rather than 'designed'.
